Q. Why choose Atomic DJ?
A: We understand that whilst looking around you will find other companies both cheaper and more expensive. We can’t speak for other companies but the reason we have come to our prices is that: we are fully insured and a fully paid-up member of NADJ, the UK’s leading mobile DJ network. All equipment is PAT tested and new for 2010; all DJs are young and vibrant but very experienced in all types of entertainment and musical tastes from the 60s to present day; all events have the opportunity for as much correspondence between us and yourself as required to make sure we understand exactly what you want. You can also choose as much or as little of the music as you like, from genre to the exact song. If you choose to leave it to us we will put together a set to suit all tastes with the opportunity of requests throughout the night.
Q. How long does it take to set up?
A. We like to give an hour to make sure everything is up and running properly. This is normally done the hour before the gig starts and does NOT count as part of the time agreed for us to play. Equipment can be set up at an earlier time if needed and this can be discussed at the booking. Either way the set up will be done with minimal fuss and will not interfere with prior engagements.
Q. Are you fully insured with a public liability licence?
A. We are fully insured with our public liability licence, and full members of the NADJ; for more details please see www.nadj.org.uk or please ask when speaking to us.
Q. What happens if the equipment breaks down?
A. This has never happened and we fully expect it never to happen in the future as we use top of the range new equipment. If the unexpected does happen then we do have a back-up plan, with additional equipment in reserve, to make sure your event is not ruined!
Q. Do you cover events further than Southampton and Hampshire?
A. Of course we are available to do gigs and have done gigs across the UK. This will be subject to an extra fee for travel etc. We also may be for hire in Europe. For more information and to discuss please send an email or give us a call on our freephone number 0800 111 4109.
Q. How far ahead do we need to book?
We do get booked-up quite far in advance, so as soon as you have an idea of the details of your event please call and we can book your event in, or go to our online calendar. We do have access to quite a few contacts so please always contact us and we should hopefully be able provide what you need, however late the call comes.
A. How is payment made?
Once we have agreed on the type of event you would like from Atomic DJ, we will ask for a small non-refundable deposit to hold that date for your event. You can pay this through PayPal, direct into our bank account, through internet banking or sent by cheque. The rest of the payment will be paid on the night.
