As always august has been a crazy month at atomic-dj. This weekend (16th-18th August) has been a busy one with three weddings, all individual and all equally fantastic days.
First up on the friday was wedding of Nick & Marie Hammond, at the lovely Highfield Park Hotel in hook. I provided up-lighters that really brought colour to the room. The crowd was mainly aged between 25-35 and the bride and groom catered for this on their pre wedding requests, and wanted lots of 90’s indie and dance, it went down a storm and was a great night enjoyed by all.
On saturday I made my way to the fantastic Goodwood house for the wedding of Gary & Lorraine Sheath. Goodwood is a lovely setting for a wedding. In the evening Lorraine really catered for her guests, starting with the great rat pack tribute called Frank & Dean, as you guessed it was a tribute to the great Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin, Great singers and went down a storm with older guest. I followed them with some great motown, 60’s and 70’s classics and then brought up-to date towards the end. Blue up-lighters really added to the atmosphere and made the stage look the part.
On the sunday I headed over to Lymington and the beautiful Stanwell house Hotel, for the weddingChloe and Elvin Pearce. Chloe had booked a singing waiter to provide extra entertainment.
He worked like the rest of catering staff and then towards the end of the meal he broke his cover and gave a great performance to the surprise of all the guests. The rest of evening went fantastically, lots of dancing and celebrating.
Weekends like these are why I love my job as atomic-dj, all very different weddings which I thoroughly enjoyed being a part of. If your getting married and want a dj who is very versatile why not contact atomic-dj and see if i can make your dreams a reality.
